Our school football teams have been busy over the past two weeks, taking part in two local tournaments and representing Kilkeel Primary School with pride and enthusiasm.
The first tournament was held at Donard Park, where both Kilkeel Primary teams performed superbly. Each team topped their group, showcasing excellent football, strong teamwork and great determination throughout. While both sides were narrowly defeated at the semi?final stage, their performances were outstanding and something to be very proud of.
The second tournament took place at St Columban’s College. Our A team had a fantastic run, progressing all the way to the final after a series of strong and confident performances. In a closely contested final, they were narrowly beaten 1–0, finishing as very worthy runners?up.
Well done to all of our players who represented Kilkeel Primary School so positively. Their effort, attitude and sportsmanship were a real credit to the school across both tournaments.
