On Tuesday, our school football teams travelled to Belfast to take part in the INTERCity Futsal qualifying tournament at Shankill Leisure Centre.
We entered one boys’ team and one girls’ team, with both playing a full schedule of ten matches against teams from Taughmonagh Primary, Rosetta Primary and St. Teresa’s Primary.
The boys performed brilliantly, recording nine wins and one draw, while the girls were victorious in all of their matches against the other girls’ teams. As a result, both teams have now secured their place at Finals Day.
A huge well done to all the pupils for their fantastic effort, teamwork and behaviour throughout the day. We wish them all the very best of luck in the finals!
