P7 Trip to Silent Valley
24th Sep 2025
Our P7 pupils enjoyed a fantastic day at Silent Valley this week! The trip gave them the opportunity to learn about the history of both Ben Crom and Silent Valley reservoirs — how they were built and why they remain such an important part of Northern Ireland’s water supply today.
After exploring the story behind the reservoirs, the pupils set off on a scenic walk around the valley. Surrounded by breathtaking views, they were able to connect what they had learned with the stunning landscape around them.
It was a brilliant day that combined history, geography, and plenty of fresh air. We are so proud of how well our pupils represented the school throughout the trip!
