Primary 2 Visit to Kilkeel High School
Primary 2 had a wonderful time visiting Kilkeel High School, where they took part in an exciting Home Economics activity making wheaten bread.
During the visit, Mrs Gordon spoke to the children about where the ingredients come from, helping them understand the journey from farm to table. The pupils then had the opportunity to make their own wheaten bread, carefully following instructions, working together, and tidying up afterwards.
The highlight for many was getting to sample their freshly made bread — it was delicious!
Primary 2 thoroughly enjoyed the experience and gained lots of valuable learning along the way. We would like to extend a big thank you to Mrs Gordon and the Home Economics staff for welcoming us and making the visit so enjoyable.
