What Primary 2 have been up to in November and December

18th Dec 2025
Primary 2 had a fantastic time exploring lots of exciting topics and activities over the past two months!

We loved learning about “People Who Help Us”. The role-play corner was transformed into a doctor’s surgery, and we used loose parts to build emergency vehicles. We also created beautiful collages of different emergency vehicles.

Out in the playground, we focused on road safety. The children designed their own town, making safe areas to cross the road and taking on roles such as police officers and lollipop people.

As part of our Autumn topic, Primary 2 enjoyed making “wedgehogs” by hammering nails into wooden wedges – a fun and creative way to explore seasonal changes!

We had a great time in Harbour Wood, going on a number hunt and using our knowledge of numerals to solve challenges.

December brought lots of festive fun! The children made Christmas tree decorations, wreaths, and even tried felting to design their own Christmas cards.

It’s been a busy and exciting term, and we can’t wait for more learning adventures in the new year!
